Llandough Primary School is a special place to learn and grow. Our children are happy, motivated, enthusiastic and independent learners. They are encouraged to develop enquiring minds, and their natural curiosity is nurtured through a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment. The voice of every child is valued, helping all learners to build confidence, develop high self-esteem and reach their full potential, while also learning to care for and support one another.
Our children develop their skills and knowledge through a creative and engaging, learner-centred curriculum which provides meaningful learning experiences and is inclusive of all learners. They are encouraged to become increasingly effective learners who develop positive attitudes towards learning. Through purposeful learning opportunities, children grow as ambitious, capable learners; healthy, confident individuals; ethical, informed citizens; and enterprising, creative contributors.
Our staff are motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated to the children and the wider school community. We have high expectations of behaviour, attendance and achievement, and we work closely with families to ensure every child is supported to flourish and reach their potential. We are proud of our strong links with the community and the positive atmosphere of trust, respect and inclusion that exists throughout the school.
