Governors

The Governing Body at Llandough Primary School plays a key role in the strategic leadership and direction of the school. Governors work in close partnership with the Headteacher and staff, providing both support and appropriate challenge to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.

The Governing Body is responsible for:

  • Setting the strategic direction of the school
  • Establishing policies which are implemented by the Headteacher and staff
  • Overseeing the management of the school’s budget
  • Monitoring progress against priorities in the School Development Plan
