We are the School Council. We are a group of dedicated pupils who represent the voice of all learners across the school. Elected by their classmates, they play an important role in making sure everyone’s ideas, opinions, and concerns are heard and valued. The council meets regularly to discuss ways to improve our school, from enhancing learning experiences to promoting wellbeing and organising events.
Through teamwork and collaboration, we help to create a positive and inclusive environment where every pupil feels they belong. Being part of the School Council helps us develop confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills, empowering them to become active, ethical citizens within our school community.
We are the Eco Committee. A passionate group of pupils who are committed to looking after our school and the wider environment. Made up of representatives from across the school, we work together to promote sustainability, raise awareness of environmental issues, and encourage everyone to make greener choices in their daily lives.
The committee leads a range of initiatives, such as reducing waste, improving recycling, saving energy, and caring for our outdoor spaces. We also help organise events and campaigns that inspire others to act and make a positive difference. Through our work, our Eco Committee empowers pupils to become responsible, informed citizens who understand the importance of protecting our planet for the future.
Our Criw Cymraeg is a group of enthusiastic pupils who help to promote the Welsh language and celebrate our Welsh identity throughout the school. As language ambassadors, they encourage everyone to use Welsh in our daily lives, both in and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive, bilingual environment where all learners feel confident to “siarad Cymraeg”.
The Criw Cymraeg lead fun activities, share Welsh phrases, and organise events linked to Welsh culture and traditions, such as St David’s Day. We work closely with staff to support our journey towards developing strong Welsh language skills and a deeper understanding of our heritage and Cynefin. Through our efforts, they inspire pride in our language and help make Welsh a natural and enjoyable part of school life.
