We are pleased to share a summary of our most recent Estyn inspection report. The report recognises Llandough Primary School as a welcoming and inclusive school where pupils feel safe, happy and well supported in their learning.
Inspectors highlighted the positive relationships between pupils and staff, noting that behaviour across the school is good and that pupils show respect for one another. The report also acknowledges the school’s strong focus on wellbeing and the supportive environment that enables pupils to develop confidence and resilience.
Teaching and learning were recognised as effective, with staff providing engaging experiences that support pupils to make progress. The school’s commitment to continuous improvement, professional learning and collaboration was also noted as a strength.
Leadership at all levels was praised for its clear vision and dedication to improving outcomes for all learners. Governors and staff work closely together to support the school’s ongoing development.
